NASA Texas Space Grant Consortium has established a new Educator STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Scholarship Program. These scholarships are intended to recognize teachers enrolled in a Masters program in STEM fields at a TSGC member institution.

The scholarships stress:

• Excellence in academics
• Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics education projects
• Current Teacher in STEM field grade level 5 and up
• Exhibited leadership qualities

Under-represented minority students, female students, and students with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

All TSGC Scholarship recipients must be:

1. Citizens of the United States
2. Enrolled in Masters Program at a TSGC member institution in good standing
3. Hold a Bachelor's Degree

2. One on-line letter of recommendation
3. Transcripts from all universities that you have attended

Scholarship applications must be submitted on-line by March 29, 2013. Supporting material must arrive within 7 calendar days of the application deadline.
