We are pleased to announce the Texas Space Grant Consortium 2009 Spring Business meeting will be held on April 6-7, 2009. The University of Houston Downtown has graciously offered to host our meeting on their campus in Houston, Texas.

Time: April 6-7, 2009

The meeting will begin around Noon on April 6 and adjourn around noon the next day - so attendees can fly into Houston that morning, and depart Tuesday afternoon.

LOCATION: University of Houston Downtown, Houston, Texas
WILLOW STREET PUMP STATION - Across from One Main Building...there is a sidewalk on the third floor of the main building that leads you to it. The Willow Street pump station is marked in Pink on the map.

PARKING:
There are about 30 visitor parking spots on hold right now so there should be no problem parking. You must enter the Parking garage entrance off Girard Street and park in the main building parking garage. Then after parking - walk toward the main building - enter door on left and take elevator to the 3rd floor. Exit Elevator, take a left at hallway and walk to the front of building - take a left on main, right on wood street and right on San Jacinto. There is a sidewalk leading to this building so it should not be hard to find.

OTHER TRANSPORTATION
Hotel is within one block of the light rail which ends at the front doors of UHD. The cost is $1.25.

There is also a bus from Terminal C at Intercontinental to downtown Houston which I believe costs $10.00. The downtown terminal is also within one block of the metro rail.
