Texas Space Grant Consortium is partnering with the Travis County Afterschool Network and the Austin Ice Bats to promote after school educational activities. The Ice Bats, the local ice hockey team, will donate 750 tickets for area youth to attend the game on October 21. Each student will receive a bag filled with goodies donated from local businesses and organizations. Space cards which include solar system facts will be given to each student by TSGC.
