What Happened During NASA Means Business '99?The six selected university teams of the inaugural 1999 NASA Means Business Student Competition identified major issues and framed the fundamental elements of the initial Mars Exploration Business Plan. They presented their work at the 1999 NASA Customer Engagement Conference, which was held in Houston on May 24-26, 1999. Those presentations may be accessed at the following web sites:
The team web sites should serve as a resource and point of departure for your proposal. Although we feel that this work provides the solid, creative thinking NASA is looking for, please feel free to propose (and substantiate) approaches that reflect different perspectives.
