  1. In order to achieve an interdisciplinary mix of talent and interests, NASA encourages the formation of teams of students from more than one academic discipline. Teaming of students from different universities is acceptable as well.

  2. NMB'01 is the third in an annual series of competitions, the purpose of which is to develop a NASA Mars Exploration Business Plan. The goal of this evolving plan is to determine and describe the roles and relationships necessary for NASA to establish and maintain a presence on Mars. We encourage you to explore the web sites of the teams that participated in NMB'99 and NMB'00, since your work will be integrated with the work accomplished previously.

  3. The University of Texas team's reports from last year's NMB 2000 competition are now available. Check their web site through the "Past Programs" link on the home page of this web site.
