Although NASA and other organizations have greatly
increased the awareness of Mars in general, public interest in the Mars
Missions has declined. A lack of understanding of the Mars Missions is one
reason for the decrease in attention by the general public.
The University of Illinois team has identified opportunities to
revive waning NASA brand image and regain public support for the Mars
Mission
The goal of the the team is to create an air of excitement
and pride in addition to increasing public understanding of the Mars
Mission.
