ABOUT NASA MEANS BUSINESS

Program Amendments

  1. The dates for the NASA Orientation session have been changed to Tuesday and Wednesday, February 21 and 22, 2006. For details, contact Burke Fort at fort@mail.utexas.edu.

  2. Because of the later-than-planned announcement of the Finalist Teams, we have decided to eliminate a couple of the "products" that we initially required for the spring semester round of competition.

Specifically, your team is no longer required to prepare "a 30-second radio spot" or a "print media piece." This modifies the WHEN & WHERE page of the NMB06 web site, under the section heading "Finalist Teams' Competition (Spring 2006 Semester)," first bullet, which now reads:

    • Each Finalist Team will prepare a NASA Strategic Communications and Education Plan document and produce a 30-second video spot and an Internet presence, based on the concepts set forth in its proposal."

IMPORTANT: In making this modification, it is our goal to give you more time and other resources for the products that remain. We are looking for high quality products; and we did not want our delay to jeopardize the quality of your final presentation in May.
