ROBOTS ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD!
You are the engineer programming your robot to save the day. Participants will work together to design and build the ultimate underwater vessel as you explore current marine science events with NASA images such as the earthquake in Japan, Deep Water Horizon oil spill, and coral reef bleaching.
Program your robot to:
- Make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich;
- Use sensors to detect and pick up simulated objects in the oil spill;
- Use gears to increase or decrease the speed of the robot;
- Create a robot that can rescue a distressed swimmer.
Campers must be: Rising 9th and 10th grade students
