| Description: | Design a human spacecraft for a Mars or other deep-space mission in which hydrogen tanks are designed to surround the crew module. A spacecraft that uses hydrogen propellant can take advantage of the ideal space radiation shielding that hydrogen provides however it will require innovation to design a tank which provides good coverage of the pressurized crew volume without compromising too much in the mass efficiency and thermal insulation of the tank. |
