NASA SYSTEMS ENGINEERING WORKSHOP '08

PURPOSE

  • To disseminate an undergraduate systems engineering curriculum to interested universities operating within NASA's Space Grant Consortia.
  • To discuss effectiveness of the pilot systems engineering activities at The University of Texas at Austin.

Discussion of Systems Engineering Curriculum:

  • Curriculum topics, class materials and assignments
  • Feedback regarding pilot teaching of class, Spring '08 at UT-Austin
  • Validation & review of curriculum by external faculty

Panel / Roundtable Opportunities:

  • Three undergraduate UT students who took the pilot course and participated in JSC systems engineering internships
  • Space Grant representatives who have initiated systems engineering efforts at their universities, both undergraduate and graduate
